Entry Deadline: April 12, 2012. Entries received after this date will only be accepted based on available space and have a late charge of $10.00. No entries will be accepted at Tournament. IF YOU ENTER AFTER APRIL 12; ADD LATE FEE of $10.00.
Equipment: GAMBLER 40 mm 3-Star orange balls provided by The Gambler Company. 10 Tournament Tables from Butterfly, Stiga, & DoubleFish.
Eligibility: All players who are current USATT members, renew or join. Unrated, non-members can pay a $10 ONCE LIFETIME ONLY pass in lieu of USATT membership. Unrated players may enter any event, but cannot advance from round robin in USATT rated events. Unrated/recreational event is open to all non USATT members AND players that join at this Tournament.
Restrictions: After the entry deadline, April 12, 2012, no refunds. Also, entries received AFTER April 12, 2012 will be accepted on an available space basis. Tournament director’s decisions are final.
Round Robin Format: One or two player advancing from each round robin, based on number of entries, to the single elimination rounds; except Open Singles where two players will advance to single elimination rounds. All round robin matches (including Open Elite) are best of 5; Single elimination matches are all best of 5 except Open Elite Singles, which will be best of 7. All doubles matches are best of 5.
Special Event Format: MICRO SUPER ROUND ROBIN Limit 30 players. Everyone, USATT member or not, CAN play. Players are put into preliminary round robin groups of 3 with players of all levels. ALL players will advance from preliminary round robin to medal round robin groups of 3-5 players, based on win/loss record and number of entrants. We will have 3 skill level groups in medal round. NO ELIMINATIONS. Medal round has players compete against others of their skill level. Minimum number of matches is 4, maximum is 8; thus MICRO Super Round Robin. Lots of fun. Prizes for all divisions.
Rules: All USATT rules and dress code will apply. 2 minute maximum warm-up before tournament matches. A certified umpire will be available, if needed. Tournament director reserves the right to cancel an event or make adjustments based on number of players entered in an event.
Fee Schedule: $20 for Open Elite Singles, $20.00 for Micro Giant Round Robin, $10.00 each for all other events.
Prizes: Prizes awarded for all 1st and 2nd place winners. No prizes will be awarded for splits, dumps, default losses or no shows.
Additional Information: Large concession stand on premises with bottled water, energy drinks, snacks, sandwiches, fruit & much more.
SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER INFORMATION......
We have reserved a room at Parker Ranch Center, 1/2 block from our playing venue. We will go there after play on Saturday. Each player will have a myriad of choices of places to eat with tournament giving each player some credit towards their dinner purchase. Much thanks to many of the entrants donating funds which will go towards the dinner credit. A delicious ice cream cake will be for dessert!
