GRAND CANYON STATE GAMES, TABLE TENNIS

 

LOCATION: Arizona Recreation Center for the Handicapped, 1550 W. Colter,

Phoenix, Saturday, March 12, 2005 & Sunday, March 13, 2005.

 

ENTRY FEES: Spectators welcome, FREE. Adults – $13 per event, Elite RR open Singles $20

Juniors – $10 each event. Elite RR - Trophies awarded. Medals for other divisions

Special Event: $5 for the Sunday Ping Pong championship event (Must play at least one other event).

All entries include a free Grand Canyon State Games T-Shirt

 

ENTRY DEADLINE: Early Entry Deadline (postmarked on or before) Saturday

Feb. 26, 2005. After that date - add $5 late fee. Late Entry Deadline (in the State

Games Office) Monday, March 7, 2005. Any entry after March 7, 2005 accepted only with

Commissioners approval. No entries accepted at tournament.

*Each team member will play at least 3 singles matches, and possibly 2 double’s matches; best of 3 (or 5, depending on number of entered teams) to 11 points; winning team advances to next round.

(Only players without a USATT rating are eligible for the Recreational RR Singles events at 1:00pm Saturday. Also, these players can only play in UNRATED events and age events)

This tournament is sanctioned by the USATT. -All USATT Members or persons joining the USATT are required to pay a $4.00 USATT rating fee at the tournament site. Also, you can join the USATT at the tournament for $40.00 year, $20.00 for Juniors. Do NOT include rating fee in fee to Grand Canyon State Games.

This sport is NOT part of the Tucson competition. Entry materials for the Tucson and Phoenix competition(s) will be available at all Fulton Homes Communities, APS locations, 76/Circle K stores, Bashas’ stores, 24 Hour Fitness clubs, and SleepAmerica stores statewide beginning in April 2005.
