POWER PLAYER AWARD:
JAY TURBERVILLE
Jay
Turberville, playing for the Phoenix Table Tennis Club and Table Tennis and
More, entered 2 different events, the Open Singles (the main event), and the
Open Doubles. Throughout the whole tournament he showed great sportsmanship in
his victories, as he had no losses, before, during, and after. Jay got here
early and helped put tables down and whatever else needed to be done to help
setup. As well, he stayed till the end and helped put everything away. He is
respectful of the sport, and to the people that play the sport. Jay won big
today, as he won the top two events, the Open Singles, and Open Doubles. Jay is
a great person to represent the sport of Table Tennis.
