NO CLUB PLAY ON FEBRUARY 4, 9, & 11 due to basketball games.

The Hawi Table Tennis Club, now called the NORTH KOHALA TABLE TENNIS CLUB, is always looking for new players. Currently, there are no membership fees or playing charges. Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome. We are happy to provide some free instruction to new players, to get you started. Have fun, meet new people. We have rackets & balls or bring your own.

We play Tuesdays AND Thursdays 6-9pm at the Hisaoka Gym, King Kam Park, Kapaau. A fantastic facility with GREAT lighting, a super hard rubber floor, plenty of space, tournament quality Stiga table tennis tables, and even air circulators to cool you down. Come on over and have some fun.

Directions to the Gym: Follow Akoni Pule Highway (270) into Kapaau. When the speed limit goes down again to 25mph, look for Sammy D's Restaurant on the right. There is a street on the left to turn that says King Kamehameha Park and a big circle sign saying GOLF. Turn left onto that street and stay on it following it around to the right till past the swimming pool. The next building is our gym. Park anywhere and come on in........

Some pictures from last night. A group of 19 players were there. Many kids, ladies, men, and all skill levels. Great lighting, a hard rubber floor, drinking fountain, bathroom facilities, plenty of free parking.

So much more room to add MANY more tables, so COME ON DOWN!

A great time was had Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the GRAND RE-OPENING of the Hisaoka Gym.

March 3, 2008 pictures from our club play:

On February 17, 2009, we had a ping pong tournament for non-rated players. 17 players entered the tournament. We had spectators and MANY of the rated players were there to help run it. Thank you to David, Joe, Debbie, Lesi, John, Shigemi, and others for making it a great success. Some great table tennis action and we had prizes for the top 3 players. See some pictures below and a video of some play and the final match.
