2014 Ironman World Championships Race 10/11/2014

Some members of the Kona TTC volunteered to assist with the 2014 Ironman World Championships.

Two-time Ironman 70.3 world champion Sebastian Kienle (GER) established a lead on the ride and carried it through the entire marathon to earn his first Ironman World Championship title.

19th Annual Kailua Kona Independence Day Parade

Our participation (#44 entry out of 65 entries) did gives us a lot of publicity! More people are now aware that we have KTTC just around the corner. "Everybody LOVES Parade." We hope to participate every year because, in that in one hour, we captured the attention of hundreds of Kona residents and tourists alike along the famous Ali'i Drive.

At a recent beginner's clinic, April 2014, juniors & adults listened & watched to learn the very basics of the sport of table tennis. Hawaii's only ITTF & USATT Certified Coach, Umpire, and Referee, Len Winkler, along with assistant Coach John Romoa, ran the clinic, hosted by KTTC.
