NORTH KOHALA TABLE TENNIS CLUB is always looking for new players. Our club meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm. There is no charge to play and we have paddles and balls you can use. We invite players of all skill levels, including real beginners and players of all ages, male or female. We are happy to assist you in any questions you have about the sport of table tennis/ping pong. Come on down and have some fun. We are happy to provide some free instruction to get you started. Have fun, meet new people. AIR CONDITIONED Certified USATT & ITTF Coach there to assist.

The North Kohala Table Tennis Club actually started in January, 2008, over 15 years ago. It began at the location of the current Sunshine Hardware Store and when Hisaoka Gym was repaired after the earthquake; the Club moved there. After being interrupted very often from basketball and other activities, the Club moved to the Intergenerational Center and then to the current location in 2017.

We play every Tuesday and Thursday 6-8pm at the Kohala Civic Center, Kapaau (located in the stand alone building behind the statue. A fantastic facility with GREAT lighting, tournament quality Stiga table tennis tables, fully AIR CONDITIONED, tile flooring, a new paint job, plenty of free parking, and a super group of nice people. Come on over and have some fun.

A great time was had Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the GRAND RE-OPENING of the Hisaoka Gym.

March 3, 2008 pictures from our club play:

On February 17, 2009, we had a ping pong tournament for non-rated players. 17 players entered the tournament. We had spectators and MANY of the rated players were there to help run it. Thank you to David, Joe, Debbie, Lesi, John, Shigemi, and others for making it a great success. Some great table tennis action and we had prizes for the top 3 players. See some pictures below and a video of some play and the final match.
